(CuisineWire.Org) – CHICAGO—Tasty ribs, live music and more are on the menu at Windy City RibFest in Uptown, THIS Friday-Sunday, July 16-18, at Lawrence and Broadway.


In addition to slabs and tunes, festival-goers will also be treated to arts & crafts, plenty of libations and be able to vote for their favorite slabs.

Hours are 5:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday, Noon-10:00 p.m. on Saturday, and Noon-9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Gate donation is $5 benefits Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown.

-Joey's Texas Thunder (Euless, Texas)
- Uncle Bub's BBQ (Westmont, Ill.)
- Famous Dave's
- BBQ Company (Oconomowoc, Wis.)
- BBQ Bob's (Chicago).

The music stage headliners will be alt-rockers Tonic (on Friday), acclaimed Florida rockers Sister Hazel (on Saturday), and Chicago blues jam band Cornmeal (on Sunday).

Other performers include lauded Chicago chamber popsters Canasta (Saturday) and acoustic pop rockers Stellar Road (Friday).
